UCLA researchers have developed a CAR-NKT cell therapy that has shown to be more effective than current immunotherapies at fighting cancer in tumor samples from late-stage triple-negative breast cancer patients.

Researchers found that the proportion of younger patients among those admitted with complicated diverticulitis, a subtype of diverticulitis, increased from 18.5% to 28.2%.

Scientists led by UCLA’s Dr. Claudio Villanueva have pinpointed at a molecular level how obesity causes fat cells to become enlarged.
